Emissions and Waste Reduction
Far East Gold is continuously seeking ways to improve our activities and increase our efficiency in the use of natural resources whilst reducing the carbon footprint in our projects and operations.
We will act responsibly and in a sustainable manner across the life cycle of our activities, from project identification through to exploration and operation and to the close-out of our projects. We manage the risks and impacts related to waste generation by promoting solutions that encourage waste reduction and the reuse, recycle and recovery of materials.
We work collaboratively with the local stakeholders and relevant government authorities at our project areas to ensure responsible waste management forms part of our long-term sustainability commitments.
